Application Procedure

Eligibility

1. KU ISC
  • Students currently enrolled in a college/university
    (College/university freshmen can apply for KU ISC without GPA restriction)
    • Graduated students can apply for KU ISC in specific cases. Please contact us in advance.

 

2. KU ISC Pre-college
  • Academically motivated high school students (aged 17 and above, and in the 11th to 12th years). (만 나이 기준)

 

 

Required Documents

  1. Official Copy of Academic Transcript (certified proof of enrollment for freshmen)
  2. Proof of Health Insurance (Any type that covers your stay in Korea)
  3. Copy of Student ID or Passport

    If you need Student VISA to enter Korea, please visit VISA & Insurance menu

Step 1
  • Complete an online application
    • Submit an online application HERE by May 17th.
      • Students may choose the course selection on the online application
      • Students must create their KU ISC passwords in order to access their student account (ID, starting with 202495xxxx, will be automatically given).
    • A confirmation email (including the ISC student number) will be sent automatically to the registered email address
Step 2
  • Pay the application fee (KRW 100,000).
  • Send the necessary documents to email (isc@korea.ac.kr) with your Application No.

  • Pay the tuition, housing fee and all other remaining fees
Step 5
  • Enter Korea on date

If you receive an Exchange Nomination from your school, you may be eligible for exemptions from certain processes. In such cases, please send us an email after submitting your application.
